Finally School!!!
The kids finally went back to school today with a 2 hours delay. They have missed 7 days already this winter now due to snow. The last two storms gave us over 3 feet in a week. It was fun, but it is nice to be getting back in to our normal routine. We have power and our phones are now working. It is amazing how much we rely on that. I know that we can do with out, but it is hard:0)

More Snow!
So Friday it started. We got 22 inches between Friday night and Sunday. That was fun until it was time to shovel. So, yesterday we finally got shoveled out, I headed in to work enough to do payroll, and now they are calling for another 7-14 inches. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the week goes. I am thinking that the kids will be out of school until next week. The plows just can't keep up with the roads. Our phones and internet have been down, but at least we only lost power for a few hours on Saturday. Hope everyone else out there is enjoying the winter:0)
oh, and Kelley, have you gone to the beach lately? I know you want to trade in paradise to come back here!!

Monday, Monday!
So Monday night it is. I am still under the weather. I have been fighting a cold/bronchitis etc. for a few months now. I could sleep all the time and anyone that knows me knows that is not the norm at all. I finally went and got a chest x-ray today. They are checking for pneumonia. In a way I am praying that I can just get another round of antibiotics and be done. I am ready to be well again. The bummer in all of this is that I haven't lost my appetite at all!
On Friday, the kids got their report cards. I am so proud of them. Alex had all A's and a C. She is trying to convince herself to like math, but she is in a advanced math this year and she isn't really used to having to work at things. She told us that she will have it up to an A by the end of the year. If she says she will do it, then she will. Callum had lots of great checks this time around. I am amazed to continually see him grow and blossom. When I think of where he was this time last year, I just can not believe how far he has come.
I will keep you posted on my health. Please pray that I get better soon. Also, I have some decisions to make regarding committments and such with the kids school for next year. Please pray that I make the right ones. It has been a pretty stressful year, but I have brought a lot of it on myself. :0[

Oh my goodness, I am actually posting!!
I have been getting it in the ear(and through the computer hehe reba) that I haven't been posting and it was missed. I so appreciate that! I have continued to browse my friends blogs even though I haven't been posting. Life has gotten very busy which will prob. be another post:0)
For now, I am asking for prayer for our dear friends the Benton's. They will be traveling home tomorrow from China with their 5th child. YUP, 5! They also have a 6th but as he just got married and is out of the house. Anyway, please pray for safe travel. I have been following along with their days, and Sam seems to be adjusting very well. We are going to head over to the airport to welcome them home tomorrow afternoon. I pray that with rush hour traffic in DC that we make it. I will keep you posted!
